Growan Nettle Scarf

Growan is a Cornish word for granite.

This hand-woven scarf is woven on my floor loom in my studio at Upton Towans tucked away in the dunes.

The scarf colours are of a granite-like appearance.

Woven in organic nettle and 16/2 bio cotton which will soften with wear, just like wearing in a new pair of boots, then becoming your favourites.

A lovely addition to your wardrobe with a rustic coastal appeal.

The pattern has very discreet medallions woven into the cloth which adds texture hand manipulated into the cloth every 8 cm.

Growan measures approx. 173cmsx 14cm plus twisted tassel ends.
