Anter s a Cornish word for Open Space.
We all appreciate the open space that we need to energise our souls.
This hand-woven scarf is woven on my floor loom in my studio at Upton Towans tucked away in the dunes.
The scarf colours are of a granite and stone-like appearance.
Woven in organic nettle and 16/2 bio cotton fibres which will soften with wear, just like wearing in a new pair of boots, that become your favourites.
A lovely addition to your wardrobe with a rustic coastal appeal of freedom and open spaces. The pattern has medallions woven into the cloth which add texture and form, creating it's own place in the Cornish landscape.
The hand-manipulated skill requires patience and concentration all through the cloth. It is a textile sculpture in its own right. A beautiful piece to hug, love and adore.
Anter measures approx. 137cm x 15cm plus twisted tassel ends.
Anter is a green and environmental scarf. It has antibacterial properties and is compostable.
